If you wanna win crucial games like the ones in the knockouts, you need your key players to play at their best. Though the world would have expected a Kane Williamson or Guptill to be that person, it wasn’t to be. Three others stepped up and won the game on the night. What a mouth watering clash that was ! Two teams at the peak of their powers and also with a great rivalry in their history; we could not ask for more thrill than that.
Loved the way all three(Mitchell,Conway and Neesham) batted, but in my opinion, the gamechanger of the innings was James Neesham. He came, he saw, he smashed those sixes, and completely changed the game around. Mitchell and Conway were the anchors, Neesham was the secret weapon 🔥
Congrats to the black Caps on their first t20 WC final. They have been the most consistent team in world cricket across all formats, and they have been doing that for years. Hope they can finally get their hands on a white ball trophy !
