The craziest transfer window ever !

2021 has been an amazing year for football fans all over the world. We’ve had two amazing international tournaments this year, and the first eight months have been nothing short of exciting. Though we’ve had so many incredible matches and events, this year will always be known as the year in which we had the craziest transfer window ever. I mean, just look at that picture above…all of those players moved clubs in the same window! We saw Messi and Ronaldo, arguably two of the greatest ever, move clubs this year. We saw one of the greatest defenders ever,Sergio Ramos leave his long time home Madrid, and so many others. Obviously, the most talked about transfers were that of Messi and Cr7. Early in august, the Barcelona football club announced Messi’s depature after trying so hard to extend his contract for a few months. It was a huge surprise for the Argentenian himself,as he was confident about the extension, and had recieved a thumbs up from the board. But due to some last minute issues,he had to leave his childhood dream and move to a different club. A few days later, Messi signed a contract with PSG and agreed for a two year deal. A few weeks later, the Portugese star Cristiano Ronaldo announced his departure from Juventus. After a lot of rumours about his next move,it was his childhood club Manchester United who came up with an offer. On the 27th of august, the club announced the signing of Cr7,and the return of the prodigal son shook the football world. The premier league has seen a few other amazing signings as well, with Romelu Lukaku’s return to Chelsea,Jaden Sancho’s arrival in united, and Grealish’s arrival in city, the fans are ready for an exciting season ahead. It’s safe to say that the French giants PSG have made the most off this transfer window, with the arrival of Messi,Ramos,Wjinaldum,Donnaruma and Hakimi.

These signings have made the fans extremely happy, and the next few months look promising. There’s always one thing about football. It doesn’t matter what happens, we will never fall short of excitement.
